The smash-hit shojo manga Tamon's B-Side, with over 3.5 million copies in circulation, has made its way to the stage! Tamon's B-Side THE STAGE opened on September 11, 2026, at Galaxy Theatre in Tennozu.

Featuring an original story supervised by the manga's creator, Yuki Shiwasu, the stage production centers on the popular idol group F/ACE. Get an intimate look at the members as they strive to reach the very top of the idol world!

Tamon's B-Side THE STAGE Official Report

Utage Kinoshita is a high school student who has devoted herself to her beloved oshi: Tamon Fukuhara, a member of one of the hottest five-member idol groups right now, F/ACE, which shot to stardom after appearing on a hit audition show.

Then, by a twist of fate, the housekeeping job she's assigned turns out to be at none other than Tamon's own home!

On stage, Tamon is the group's "sexy and wild" heartthrob - a flawless idol who captivates their devoted fans, known as E/YES, with his commanding presence. But behind the scenes? He's actually a gloomy, socially withdrawn loner with absolutely no self-esteem...

And as if that weren't complicated enough, each of the other members of F/ACE is hiding a secret side of their own...!

Then came a huge opportunity...

F/ACE was selected to headline JAPAN MUSIC FES, one of the biggest music events in the country!

The only other idol group to ever take on this prestigious role was the legendary X-ReaL.

Following in the footsteps of their heroes, F/ACE is busier than ever - undergoing grueling "Spartan" training with the fearsome instructor Jason and taking part in a week-long "documentary boot camp," where the production of their new song hangs in the balance!

But just as everything seems to be falling into place, an unexpected problem threatens to throw everything into chaos...!?

"I'm so sorry for being such a terrible, useless piece of trash... With Kinoshita-san gone, too, I just don't know what to do..."

As F/ACE confronts their own inner struggles and clashes with one another, they fight their way toward the ultimate stage - all through their own efforts!

"I'm Kanata Narabayashi, and I'll be playing Tamon Fukuhara. I'm truly happy that we were all able to come together and safely make it to opening day. The past year I've spent living as Tamon Fukuhara has brought plenty of challenges and moments when the pressure felt overwhelming, but more than anything, it has been an incredibly fun and happy year.

I have nothing but gratitude for all the staff and cast members who accepted me despite my inexperience, patiently guided me, and supported me throughout this journey, as well as all the fans who have been there for us.
