Official Tour Report: 2026 PLAVE World Tour [KEEP IT MANIC] in Japan

This marked PLAVE's second solo concert in Japan, approximately one year after their previous performance. As the second stop on their first-ever world tour, the shows were filled with the extraordinary enthusiasm and excitement of PLLI, PLAVE's fans.

Spanning approximately two and a half hours, the performances captivated the audience with a spectacular lineup of highlights, including special stage effects created exclusively for the world tour, as well as a diverse range of costumes and styling.

As fans eagerly awaited PLAVE's arrival on stage, the five members kicked off the show with "The 6th Summer," the title track from their 1st Mini Album, ASTERUM : The Shape of Things to Come.

They followed up with two consecutive performances: "Kakurenbo," their Japanese debut song, and "WAY 4 LUV," the title track from their 2nd Mini Album, ASTERUM : 134-1. The audience erupted into loud cheers as fans finally got to see PLAVE in person.

The members then greeted the audience, incorporating Japanese into their remarks. Expressing their excitement at reuniting with their fans, they shared heartfelt messages, including, "We've really been looking forward to this day because we wanted to meet the PLLI so much."

The shows also featured the first-ever performances in Japan of songs from PLAVE's 4th Mini Album, Caligo Pt.2, released in April this year, including "Blossom Parade" and "HMPH! (feat. SOLE)." The members also took the stage for captivating solo performances, each showcasing their unique charm.

During the solos, YEJUN performed  a cover of "Close To You," a song made famous worldwide by the Carpenters; NOAH covered "Good Boy Gone Bad" by TOMORROW X TOGETHER; BAMBY performed SHINee's "Sherlock (Clue + Note)"; EUNHO took on JUNNY's "TASTE"; and HAMIN performed "Spider" by HOSHI (SEVENTEEN). Each member captivated the audience with a distinctive performance that highlighted their individual style and personality.

The group also delivered a series of special performances featuring arrangements debuting on the world tour, including an East Asian-inspired version of "Watch Me Woo!" and a jazz version of "Chroma Drift." These fresh remixes sent the audience into a frenzy.

In the second half of the show, the group unveiled special performances exclusive to the Japan shows.

In particular, like last year, PLAVE once again prepared a highly anticipated cover of a Japanese artist's song. When the five members took the stage to perform a cover of M!LK's "Sukisugite METSU!," the audience erupted into thunderous cheers.

The group also surprised fans with the world premiere of "Flame (feat. milet)," a collaboration with singer-songwriter milet that had only just been released on September 3.

"Flame (feat. milet)" marks PLAVE's first-ever collaboration with a Japanese artist. After performing the song, the members shared behind-the-scenes stories from the songwriting and recording process and expressed their gratitude to milet for collaborating with them, filling the venue with a warm and heartfelt atmosphere.

After the main set came to a close, PLAVE returned to the stage in response to the audience's chanting and enthusiastic calls for an encore.

They then treated fans to the first-ever performance in Japan of "Star Trace," the title track from their upcoming 5th Mini Album, HYPERDRIVE, set for release on October 12.

PLAVE immediately fired up the crowd at the start of the encore stage before sharing heartfelt messages of gratitude with the fans in attendance.

"Getting to stand on stage in Japan again like this made me so happy," said EUNHO.

"I'm so happy that we could spend today smiling together. I was truly happy to meet all of you," said HAMIN.

"I feel so moved, since it seems like our feelings have reached all of our PLLI. Thank you so much for giving us so much love and for coming all the way here to see us," said NOAH.

BAMBY also expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the bond they had deepened with their fans through music, saying, "I think it's truly wonderful that we can become one through music, even when we speak different languages or are far apart."

YEJUN then shared his overflowing love for the fans, saying, "Wherever PLLI are, and wherever PLLI call for us, we'll rush to be there."

To close out the show, PLAVE performed their debut song, "Wait for you." The Kanagawa concert came to a moving close, leaving the audience filled with emotion.

Having successfully wrapped up the Japan leg, following the opening concerts in Incheon, South Korea, on September 12 and 13, PLAVE will continue their tour across Asia and the United States, bringing their performances to an even wider audience.

Prior to the Japan shows, PLAVE made headlines in South Korea by holding the first-ever stadium concert by a K-pop virtual idol group at Incheon Munhak Stadium's Main Stadium this year. This followed their successful performance at Gocheok Sky Dome in November last year, with this year's stadium show also drawing an enthusiastic response from fans.

PLAVE is also set to release their new 5th Mini Album, HYPERDRIVE. Coming approximately six months after their previous release, the 4th Mini Album Caligo Pt.2, the new album has sparked considerable anticipation among fans worldwide, who are eager to discover the music and concept PLAVE will bring this time around.
