He is the older brother type idol of the national idol duo "HR".
He is often called cute by his fans because he is a little silly and a bit clumsy.
A special happening led him to go out with Hibiki, and they are currently in love with each other.
He is straightforward and hardworking in everything he does.

Hibiki Shinjo (CV. Takuya Eguchi)
HR's cool and stand-offish idol.
Rui and Hibiki when to Jr. High and High School together and have a Sempai/Kouhai relationship however, even though Hibiki is younger is acts cocky and teases Rui all the time.
Actually, Hibachi has liked Rui ever since Jr. High.
