animate, Japan's largest anime merchandise specialty chain, is officially coming back to Mong Kok, Hong Kong, in December 2025. Five years after the closure of our previous location, we are responding to the passionate requests of our fans by re-entering the market—this time as a fully "Directly Managed Store" by animate Co., Ltd., promising an experience bigger and better than ever before.

■ The Long-Awaited Return of "animate Hong Kong"

Our new home will be on the 4th floor of "T.O.P This is Our Place," a popular shopping complex located in the heart of Mong Kok, the epicenter of Hong Kong's youth and pop culture. With direct access from the MTR station, the location offers unparalleled convenience for shopping after school or during holidays.

The highlight of this reopening is our status as a direct store.
