DAKAICHI x animate Cafe Ikebukuro 3 Shop Photo Report

From January 15 (Wed) until February 18 (Tue) 2025, the animate Cafe Ikebukuro 3 Shop is holding a collaboration with "DAKAICHI: I'm being harassed by the sexiest man of the year."

At this collab cafe you can see life-sized standee panels featuring especially-created art of Junta Azumaya and Takato Saijo by manga artist Hashigo Sakurabi, and try a menu inspired by "DAKAICHI." This is a must-see place for fans.

Welcome! Greeted in by ChunTaka

As soon as you enter this spacious store, you'll catch sight of Hashigo Sakurabi's especially drawn Junta Azumaya and Takato Saijo right in the middle! It's just like they're greeting you.

Why not take a selfie with ChunTaka in their waiter outfits—or bring your own "DAKAICHI" merch for a photoshoot?

Also, look down by ChunTaka's feet to find Hashigo Sakurabi's autograph! Toonyaka-san and Chunya look adorable!

There are four total black and wine-red placemats available. They definitely make the meal even more exciting!

Deluxe menu inspired by the plot of "DAKAICHI!"

Food

There are three main dishes: the "Takato-san♡Here♡A lunchbox♡ Infatuated Honeymoon Stage Homemade Bento," "Junta's Paella For Takato-san," and the "ChunNyaka Stew." They all look adorable and are ingeniously designed to let fans enjoy food from the world of "DAKAICHI."

The bento Junta lovingly made for Takato-san is packed with colorful ingredients, such as teriyaki chicken and omelet. The omelet has a sweet seasoning that truly makes you think of Junta.

Saffron rice topped with a smorgasbord of seafood including mussels, shrimp, octopus, and calamari…… "Junta's Paella For Takato-san" was featured on the back cover of volume 6. Getting to see and taste this aspirational dish was a sublime experience.

The "ChunNyaka Stew" features ChunNyaka sleeping snugly wrapped in a tortilla blanket (there's a rice ball hidden inside.) The meat is tender and very delicious!

Drinks

There are eight drinks to choose from: "Blood Wedding," "The Red Leaf Ogre," "It's All Thanks To Takato-san's Honey Trick♪," "Small Bottle of Sun," "ChunNyaka Sangria (Red)," "ChunNyaka Sangria (White)," "Toonyaka Soda Float," and "Chunya Soda Float." They're all look gorgeous and taste delicious - you'll have a hard time choosing one...!

The soda floats have Toonyaka and Chunya wafers on top, which look great in photos! There are two flavors: blue soda with black sesame ice cream, and melon soda with vanilla ice cream. We recommend completionists visit more than once!

"The Red Leaf Ogre," "Small Bottle of Sun," "Blood Wedding," and "It's All Thanks To Takato-san's Honey Trick♪" are inspired by the in-universe drama "Small Bottle of Sun," stage plays "Blood Wedding" and "The Red Leaf Ogre," and THAT honey scene from volume 1.

On our visit, we tried the "Blood Wedding" drink, plus the "It's All Thanks To Takato-san's Honey Trick♪" and "Small Bottle of Sun."

"It's All Thanks To Takato-san's Honey Trick♪" has a yuzu and grated daikon base that warms you from the inside out, with a harmonious honey aftertaste. It is garnished with a piece of chocolate inspired by Junta's wing—what a wonderful detail.

The "Blood Wedding" drink is served in a cocktail glass, giving it a mature air, but it's not alcoholic—it's a grape-flavored drink. Arrange it just so on the ChunTaka placemat, and you can take a photo of them looking like bartenders offering you a cocktail...!

"Small Bottle of Sun" has a sweet mango flavor that delights the senses. Experience the flavor change with the special pink grapefruit and mint syrup, too.

Dessert

There are three desserts available: the "UsaAri Dessert Plate," the "First Theme Park Date," and the "Witches' Drop." 

With a cigarettes-and-candy theme, the "UsaAri Dessert Plate" is inspired by Kazuomi Usaka and Kiyotaka Arisu. The wafer sitting casually there is very cute too.

There are three desserts available: the "UsaAri Dessert Plate," the "First Theme Park Date," and the "Witches' Drop."

There is also a dessert inspired by ChunTaka's first theme park date depicted in volume 9, and a sundae inspired by the drama "Witches' Drop." From drinks to dessert, we got to taste the world of "DAKAICHI."  

The "Witches' Drop" sundae is made of layers of berry jelly, chocolate whipped cream, and chocolate rice crispy, topped with raspberry ice cream. The three layers allow you to experience a variety of textures. Plus, the blue jelly on the bottom is the perfect refreshing finisher!
